PRP

PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma . It is a plasma fluid containing a high concentration of platelets, obtained from the person's own blood. Platelets contain growth factors that enable wound healing and tissue regeneration in the body. Thanks to these properties, PRP is widely used in both aesthetic and medical fields.

For what purposes is PRP performed?

 Skin rejuvenation : Supports collagen production, gives shine and firmness to the skin. Delays skin aging in the long term.

Hair loss : Nourishes hair roots, reduces hair loss and supports new hair growth.

Blemish and acne scar treatment

Wound healing and orthopedic disorders (cartilage repair, joint pain)

It can be used to improve dark circles and bags under the eyes .

How is PRP Performed?

·         Blood Collection: A small amount of blood (usually 8–20 ml) is taken from the person.

·         Centrifugation Process: This blood is separated into its components by spinning in a special device. The platelet-rich plasma part is separated.

·         Application: The PRP obtained is injected under the skin with small needles. It can also be applied with micro-needling (Dermapen) depending on the person's preference.

How Often Is PRP Done?

·         Although it varies from person to person, at least 3 sessions should be applied. Session intervals are monthly. After a sufficient number of sessions are applied within 1 year, sessions should be continued the following year.

What should be taken into consideration after filling?

• Minor pain may be felt; an anti-inflammatory painkiller is preferred for both edema relief and pain reduction.
• Water contact is not recommended for 24-48 hours.
• Slight swelling and bruising, especially in sensitive areas such as under the eyes, are normal — these effects usually subside within 5-7 days.
