What is arm lift?
An arm lift, medically known as brachioplasty, is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the upper arms to create a more toned and defined appearance. It is commonly performed on individuals who have experienced significant weight loss, aging-related skin laxity, or genetic predisposition to sagging arms.
Arm lift will be applied with a long incision from armpit to elbow. The scar will be red at first months but with a proper after-care, it will be less visiable and pink up to 1 year.
Surgery will be performed under general anesthesia and will last around 2-3 hours.
Recovery Process
First 1-2 Weeks:
Swelling, bruising, and discomfort (managed with pain medication).
Compression Garment: Worn for 8 weeks to
minimize swelling and aid healing.
Limited Arm Mobility: Avoid heavy lifting and strenuous activity for 8 weeks.
Final Results: Visible after 6 months up
to a year to fade.
