Pressotherapy is a pneumatic (air pressure) massage method used to increase lymph and blood circulation. In addition to being used as a relaxing massage in daily life, it is also used in the treatment of cellulite, lymphedema (accumulation of lymph fluid), swelling, edema, and to accelerate fat and fluid excretion after radiofrequency treatment.
How is Pressotherapy Applied?
- The person is dressed in special clothing (boots, arm and abdominal girdle).
- This suit is inflated and deflated with air at regular intervals by a device.
- During the procedure, the lymphatic system and blood circulation are stimulated with fluctuating pressure.
